How a piece is made

Four stages, one firing

01

Ceramic body making

Each form is hand-shaped from raw clay. Every piece gains unique proportions and texture before glazing.

02

Hand glazing

Glaze is brushed on by hand. Thickness and coverage vary naturally between every artwork.

03

Loading the kiln

Each piece is carefully placed inside the electric kiln. Its position changes how heat interacts with the glaze.

04

Opening the kiln

After high-temperature firing, we open the kiln. We reveal each piece, as glaze locks into its final, one-of-a-kind form.

The kiln method

Heat decides the final color

Every artwork is hand-glazed and fired at high temperature in our electric kiln. As heat builds inside, glaze melts, flows and reacts, forming swirls, gradients and patterns that cannot be pre-planned or replicated.

Heat defines the final look — no two artworks will ever be identical. Each listing represents a single physical piece. Once sold, this exact artwork can never be recreated.
